Article: Order status and explanation

There are four different order status, let's take a look at each and what they mean.

  1. Pending- An order shows as pending when a client doesn’t have a payment method on file and/or isn’t authorized. If a client signs up without a payment method and your Internal team didn't authorize them before they placed an order, then that order would show as pending. You would need to manually authorize the client and manually set that order live. All you have to do is click the order status icon at the top right hand corner of the screen to change the status of the order to live, and hit update. Once a client is authorized, every order placed after will automatically go live.

  2. Live- When an order is live, this means that active outreach can take place and candidates have the opportunity to interact with the order, by viewing and applying for shifts. When an order is live a green check mark is displayed by the order status icon.

  3. Proposal Pending- Depending on your platform’s configuration, that is, if you have proposal mode enabled on the platform, Proposal Pending could be one of the order status. When an order is pending a proposal, that just means that a proposal hasn’t been submitted for the order as yet.

  4. Closed- Orders are automatically closed out after some time if there are no future shifts; they are considered inactive. You also have the option to manually close out orders. Bear in mind that no more changes can be made after an order is closed. If you hover over the “Closed (Irreversible)” option, you will get a brief explanation of what it actually means for the order.
