Typically, when a client places a new job order, the order is immediately made live if the client has a credit card added on the platform or Bank Account connected (ACH). If they do not have a payment source connected, then their order would be pending until the admin approves it.

Now, you may have clients who are trustworthy and reliable, who you want to be able to place job orders without an admin having to approve it even if they have not added a credit card or bank account. Perhaps you have a long-standing relationship with them and know they will pay you outside the platform via a different method. Well, now the admin can manually authorize a client to place their own job orders and go live immediately.

As the admin, you can go to the client’s profile and click on the link that says Authorize (next to Not Authorized) - this will change the status to Authorized, allowing the client’s job orders to go live immediately.

The only exception to this is if a job order status is set to Proposal, then a proposal will first be sent before being approved as live.

Likewise, the admin can also unauthorize a client, if they are not fit for your company. The platform will automatically authorize a client if they add their payment information, and the platform can also unauthorize a client, if their payment method is on file, but has been declined. Again, you click on the link that says Unauthorize (next to Authorized), and it will change to Not Authorized. It may take approximately 30 seconds to update after refreshing the page.

We hope this will help you build and maintain great relationships with your clients.
