When it comes to managing users and tasks, control of different permissions is really important. The ability for admin users to have control over client delegate users not only streamlines user management but also provides your Internal team with expanded capabilities.

Accessing Delegate User Management

If you utilize the delegate users feature, you can easily find the Delegate Users tab right inside your client accounts on your admin platform. To locate this tab, simply navigate to the desired client account and click on the "Take Action" button. From there, you'll find the "Delegate users" tab waiting for you.

The Delegate User tab mirrors that which is available on the client side. Your Internal team has the power to delegate user management efficiently and effectively, ensuring smooth operations within client accounts.

How to Add a Delegate User

  1. Click on “Add New User”
This will open a form where you can enter the delegate user's details.

  2. Fill in the required information
Complete the form with the following:

    • Name

    • Email address

    • Password

    • Account status (Active/Inactive)

    • Email notification preference (Send Email/Don’t Send Email)

    • Custom welcome message (optional)

    • User Rights

  3. Assign User Rights
User rights determine which parts of the platform the delegate user can access. Available rights include:

    • Dashboard

    • Weekly schedule

    • Private team

    • New Order

    • Order History

    • Approve timesheets

    • And more

You can assign as many rights as needed. When the user logs in, they will only see the features you've granted them access to.

Important Note

An email address that is already associated with a client account cannot be used for a delegate user.

However, you can use a variation of the email by adding a plus sign and number. For example:
If Betty.Rae@example.com is already the main email for a client account, it cannot be used again as a delegate user.
Instead, you can use Betty.Rae+1@example.com, Betty.Rae+2@example.com, etc.

These variations will still deliver emails to the original address, but the platform treats them as unique addresses.

Conclusion

Delegate User Admin Control offers your Internal team heightened control and efficiency within client accounts. This feature empowers your team to oversee user activities effectively while staying within your admin platform.
