In today's competitive job market, the need for reliable assessment of candidate competencies is more crucial than ever. One effective approach is Self Attestation. This article explores how to assess candidate competencies with your platform.
Defining Candidate Attestation of Competencies:
Candidate Attestation of Competencies involves candidates explicitly confirming and validating their skills, experiences, and qualifications relevant to the position they are applying for. This process goes beyond traditional resumes and application materials, allowing candidates to assert their proficiency in specific areas. For more information on competencies, see this article.
Fostering Transparency:
By encouraging candidates to self-evaluate their competencies, you are promoting transparency in the authorization process. Candidates provide a more comprehensive view of their capabilities, enabling your team to make informed decisions based on verified information.
Aligning Expectations:
Candidate Attestation serves as a tool for aligning expectations between your team, your clients, and candidates. It helps bridge the gap between what is stated on a resume and the actual proficiency a candidate possesses. This alignment is crucial for a successful onboarding process and long-term employee satisfaction.

Once this feature has been enabled, candidates will be able to self-score their competencies during onboarding. For each competency mapped to a job type that the candidate has said they are interested in working, the candidate will select if they are a novice, advanced beginner, intermediate, advanced, or expert.
