If you have candidates who have gone on leave and do not want to be bombarded with notifications, we recommend that you unsubscribe them instead of unauthorizing them.
If you had unauthorized them instead of unsubscribing and now want them to receive notifications about opportunities that were created while they were unauthorized, you would have to manually invite them to those orders if there are future shifts still available.
If post sign up jobseeker engagement is enabled on your platform, candidates will have the ability to apply for opportunities even though they are not authorized. In the event that you had unauthorized a candidate instead of unsubscribing them, and had this feature enabled on your platform, they would still be able to see and apply for opportunities. Bear in mind that this feature does not work retroactively. It has to be enabled before you unauthorize the candidate.
