If you're considering upgrading your payment system to WOLF Fintech, you may be wondering how the process works. In this article, we'll explain the steps involved in migrating to the WOLF Fintech system.
Step 1: Contact Account Manager
The first step in migrating is to contact your account manager at WOLF. They will guide you through the process and provide you with all the information you need to get started.
Step 2: Migrate existing customers to central Stripe
The second step is to copy your customers to central Stripe.
Log in to your Stripe account.
Go to the Customers page.
Click on the "Copy customers" button.
In the "Copy Method" field, select "Copy all customers".
Enter the account ID (format: acct_xxxx) of the WOLF Central Stripe account, which is: acct_1GEk03AI9Wiac41B and click "Continue".
You'll receive a message stating that the recipient needs to authorize your request before the copy occurs.
Click "Confirm" to initiate the copying process.
NB- While the migration is happening, your Stripe account will continue to work as normal. The copying process is non-destructive, which means that we will not remove any data from your Stripe account during the migration.
After the migration is complete, you'll receive a CSV file that you should share with your account manager at WOLF.
Please note that only cards of payment method type are migrated. ACH methods are not migrated.
Step 3: Wolf Team Initiates Migration
Once the customer data has been copied to Central Stripe, the WOLF team will initiate the migration. We will ensure that the data is properly reintegrated into your platform. Our team will work with you to ensure that the migration is seamless and that there is no disruption to your business operations.
Step 4: Turn the Switch On: Migration is Complete
After the migration is complete, your customers will be able to see their payment method on file. They will now be able to add more payment methods to their account on your platform. With the migration complete, you can start using WOLF Fintech and with it all the latest features. Our team will be on hand to provide any support you may need during the transition.
