Browsers tend to save information from websites in the form of cache and cookies. Clearing them periodically can fix certain problems you may encounter on the platform, like loading or formatting issues and helps your computer or device run optimally.

To clear cache on Chrome follow these steps:

  1. On your computer, open Chrome

  2. At the top right, click More

  3. Click More tools --> Clear browsing data

  4. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All Time

  5. Nest to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files", check the boxes.

  6. Click Clear data

To clear cache on Safari follow these steps:

  1. Click on the Safari drop-down menu and select Settings.

  2. Click the Advanced tab. Select the Show Develop menu in the menu bar checkbox and close the Preferences window.

  3. Select the Develop drop-down menu. Click Empty Cache.

  4. You may want to also clear your browser history.
