Your Internal team may want to remove a candidate’s application or request to work a shift. It could be that the candidate is “conflicting” or requested to work by mistake, for example. Whatever the reason, you have the ability to remove a candidate's application.

To do this, navigate to the Orders tab and locate the order. Under the Applicants tab, locate the candidate whose application you’d like to remove/reject. There are two action items beneath the candidates name or image, one to assign them to all shifts and is represented by a check mark, and another to reject them for all shifts which is represented by an X. If you would like to reject the candidate from all shifts then you can go ahead and click the X.

If you would like to remove an applicant from just a shift or two, then you can hide that candidate from the shift rather than reject them for all shifts. To hide a candidate from a shift, click inside the area of the shift you’d like to hide them from and then click on the “Hide” icon that’s represented by a minus sign. If you hover over the icons their function will also be displayed. You could also mark the candidate as “not available”, if it is that they are unavailable to complete that shift. However, marking a candidate as unavailable would mean that they are unable to apply to any other shift on that day.

NB: Hiding a candidate from a shift will not affect their ability to apply for other shifts on that day.

Hiding candidate

If the Internal team member or recruiter assigned to that order had already gone along and assigned the candidate to shifts, and would like to remove them from any of those shifts, then they can just click on the shift assignment under the relevant date and cancel that candidate for that particular shift.

For more information on how to cancel a candidate from an assigned shift, see this article.
