At some point there may be the need to add a shift/s to the platform that has already been completed. You may want to log these past shifts for accounting purposes or just to make it easier to keep track of things by having everything on the platform.
To do this, follow the steps below.
You would first need to place an order for a shift with a present or future date, since you won’t be able to place an order with a shift that has a date in the past.
It could also be the case where the order already exists on the platform and you just need to add a shift that wasn’t added initially. In this case all you would need to do is locate the order, navigate to the “Schedule” tab and add that shift by hitting the plus sign beside the accurate date. Afterwards, you can assign the candidate who worked that shift. To do this, go to the “Hired” tab, click “Assign Someone” and add the candidate who previously worked the shift.
If the order doesn’t exist on the platform then you would complete the rest of the steps.
After placing the order, ensure you’re under the order tab that says “View Order”. Scroll to the bottom of the page and to the left you’ll see the dates of the shifts within the order. Update the dates by clicking on the edit icon beside the shift date, click the option to “Change shift time” and update the date and or time to that of the past.
After you’ve finished canceling future shifts, edit the order by clicking the edit icon at the top right hand corner of the screen and navigate to the ‘Schedule” tab. From the schedule you can add past shifts by clicking the ‘+’ icon beside the relevant past date, add start and end time, then hit submit.
