Your clients can have multiple users attached to their account. It is important for companies that need to allow multiple users, to each have their own account access and perform tasks that are delegated to them.
From your Internal team's platform, you have the ability to enable/ disable this feature. To do either of these, navigate to Configuration → Client Experience → Information Exchange and Privacy.
Client Platform
On the left hand side of the client’s dashboard, there is a tab entitled Delegate (Delegate Account in full) which is also represented by a group icon. If the client clicks on this tab, it will reveal the list of users the company has already added. And at the top right hand corner of the page, there’s the option to “Add New User”.
Hitting “Add New User" launches the form to input all necessary information for that user; this includes name, email address, password, status of account (active/ inactive), email notification status (send email/ don’t send email), a custom welcome message and user rights.
The “User Rights” will give the user access to certain functions/ features of the platform, some of these rights include: access to the dashboard, weekly schedule, private team, creating new orders, order history, timesheet approval etc. Your clients can assign as many rights to a user as they’d like. When that new user signs into the platform, they’ll only be able to see those tabs they’ve been given the rights to access.
An email address that is already associated with a client account cannot be used as a delegate account/ user. However, you can add a new email address that isn't linked to any client account as a delegated user for multiple existing client accounts as a delegate user.
For instance, let's say I have the email address brianna.lysaith+500@fromwolf.com, which is already designated as the authentication email for a client account. In contrast, if I wish to add brianna.lysaith+501@fromwolf.com as a delegated user to two or more different client accounts, the platform permits this action. It's important to note that you cannot employ the same brianna.lysaith+500@fromwolf.com email that is associated with a client account for this purpose.
NB- The Delegate Account tab will only be visible to platform owners/ main users and not sub-users.
