Candidates may not always be available, maybe they’ve blocked out availability for certain days or they have been assigned to another opportunity. This will reflect as being “conflicting”.
Whatever the reason, your internal team members can be restricted from hiring conflicting candidates, even if it’s only a partial conflict. For example, this could mean if a worker is already assigned to a shift where the timing of the shift overlaps partially–but not fully–with the other opportunity. So, if John Doe is already working from 12 pm to 5 pm, you would not be able to assign him to a shift starting at 4:30 pm.
By default the platform allows Admins to hire any candidate however, should you decide to hire a conflicting candidate, this hire will not be saved on the backend; even if you refresh the page, it will appear as if no assignment has been made.
