Wouldn’t it be easier if your internal team could group invoices for your clients?
Grouping invoices helps us organize and consolidate charges of multiple orders from a particular client, into a single transaction and can therefore be paid using a single payment method. This allows for greater flexibility in serving and meeting the expectations of your clients for how and when they receive invoices.
Your internal team has the option to group invoices based on cost center, which may be useful if your clients have different sub-groups or departments. For example, let’s say you have a client, Acme Medical Center, that comprises of various departments that need to be invoiced separately–such as an Emergency Department and an Oncology Department. With the cost center option for grouping invoices, you have the ability to combine all orders that fall under their Emergency Department into one invoice, instead of the Emergency Department and Oncology Department invoices being lumped together. You can create as many cost centers as you wish, with the names and information relevant to your clients. You also have the option to group invoices by pay period, which means invoices will be based on a certain time frame; we currently support weekly invoices (starts Mondays at 00:00 hours and ends Sunday at 11:59 pm). And lastly you have the option to group invoices by order, which means you have the ability to combine invoices of a particular client based on each order they’ve placed, that may be a single shift or multiple shifts. Clients will be invoiced for each order at a time.
And guess what! You can have more than one option enabled at once should you wish to.
For example, if you have invoices grouped by order and by pay period, invoices would be generated for all the shifts in a given order that fell within that Monday to Sunday period.
