If you are a staffing company that has already been in business for a while, chances are you already have an established workforce of candidates you would like to bring on to the platform as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Let’s walk through what your options are to do this, starting with what we most recommend to what we least recommend.

Option 1: Drip Email Campaign with Job Link

The most effective option for bringing your existing candidates into your platform is to utilize an email marketing tool, such as ActiveCampaign and to create a drip email campaign with an actual job link in it.

This proves to be a very enticing way of getting candidates to sign up for the platform since they will need to create a profile to apply for the job sent in the email.

A drip email campaign can be set up to follow up with different messages for candidates who do not open the email versus those who open but did not click on the link, and so on. These follow up emails help remind candidates that there are jobs available on your platform and that creating a profile is necessary to access them. It also makes it much less likely that something gets lost in their inbox.

Option 2: Drip Email Campaign

This option also entails using email marketing tools such as ActiveCampaign to create a drip email campaign--but will not have a job link in it.

Again, using such a tool, you can send an email to candidates with the link of the platform and ask them to create a profile here in order to start seeing and applying for jobs.

Just as with a drip email campaign that includes a job link, these campaigns can also be set up to follow up with different messages for candidates who do not open versus those who open but do not create a profile, and so on, and helps remind them to create a profile in order to access your platform.

Option 3: Bulk Upload

To do a bulk upload of your existing workforce, it will be necessary to give Wolf a CSV file containing the following information:

  • Candidate name (Obligatory)

  • Candidate email (Obligatory)

  • Candidate address (Obligatory)

  • Candidate phone number (Obligatory)

  • Password for account (Optional)

  • Resume file (Optional)

  • Profile picture file (Optional)

  • Date of birth (Optional)

This option is the option we least recommend as it is extremely inefficient and creates a logistical nightmare. What ends up happening is that Wolf uses Candidate John Doe’s email to create their profile on the platform, however now your staffing company must email John Doe to let him know that his account has been made, what his log in and password are, and that he must still go in to fill in the rest of his profile.

In our experience, a candidate will not do this--they may not see this single email and thus will never go to the platform to fill in the rest of the information or access the account. However, they may go to the platform in the future and try to create a new account (which, they won’t be able to since there is already an account linked to their email address), and here we can see where the challenges spring up.

So, if you’re looking to bring your existing workforce onto the platform you know what Wolf recommends--don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any questions as you embark on this process!
