If your platform is operating across multiple cities, states, or even countries, you probably want to have different team members that are responsible for orders in those different geographies.
Here’s how you can set that up:
On your platform you can assign geographies and job types to the team members responsible for them. The outcome is that each team member only sees and gets notified about orders that they are responsible for.
If a team member has not been assigned any rights in terms of geography or job types, then they will see all orders.
To assign these rights to team members follow these steps:
Login to your dashboard
Navigate to Configurations
Click on Your Team
Select the user you want to add rights for and click View and Configure.
Click on the Rights tab
6. Here you can do three things:
a. Map Counties: Add counties that this team member is responsible for.
b. (beta) Add an address and map and we will map orders near that location to this team member.
c. Map Job Types: Add job types that this team member is responsible for
7. All changes should be saved automatically.
Still, you may find that there are times when orders come in that are not geographically mapping to the correct team member. This could be happening if the county where the order came from has not been mapped to any team member.
When this happens, there is a transparent way for the team member to see if the county has been mapped to them or not. This can be done by navigating to the job order, where underneath the map the county will be listed. The team member can quickly map themself to the geography by clicking the plus sign. This will save just as if it had been added from the “Rights Assignment” section, so any future order in that geography will be mapped to that team member, too.
We hope that this will allow your team to more efficiently manage your orders.
