If you are reading this article, it most likely means that your platform is up and running the way you expect it to. Congratulations! Maybe you even have a small group of Alpha or Beta testers giving you feedback.
With that in motion, you’ve decided to turn your attention to the aesthetics of the frontend of the platform. Now, your platform does come with a boilerplate template for this. However, Wolf is only capable of changing the images and copy on this.
So, if you want the formatting to be different than is found on the boilerplate, but don’t expect to be making many changes to your content, DesignModo might be a good tool for you. You can read more about this drag-and-drop website builder here.
But what if you want a different format...and the ability to update and add new content frequently? Maybe you already have a marketing agency or designer on-hand to help you get going. Well, we still have some tips and tricks to help you get started.
First, you’ll of course need to pick a website builder of your choosing--such as Wix, Wordpress, SquareSpace, or the like. Whatever your team is most familiar with should be just fine.
Here’s what we recommend next:
Give website users a login button (ideally on the navigation bar and always visible). Wolf will provide you with a link that will direct users to a log-in page for your platform.
The primary Call to Action (CTA) on the site should be a button for Sign Up/Create New Account. There should always be at least one place on every page for a new user to take this action. Again, Wolf will provide you with a link that will direct users to the Create a new account page for your platform.
Your login button would link to a URL that looks like this:
app.yourdomain.com/sign_in
While the sign up URL would look something like this:
app.yourdomain.com/users/sign_up
We hope this helps as you embark on getting the frontend of your platform just right.
