In several places throughout the platform, you’ll find the convenient option to add (not assign) a candidate directly to a shift. This was designed to make your experience faster and more efficient.

On the Missions page in Wholesome View, navigate to a job order and click Assign Someone within the shift. A side menu will appear, where you can click the Add Candidate button. This lets you search for a candidate and add them to the shift either as an applicant or as the hired worker.

  • Add as Applicant: This will place the candidate in the Applicants list below. To assign them to the position, click on their name and then click the check mark below it.

  • Hire: Choosing this option will immediately assign the candidate to the shift. They will then appear under the Hired list.

You can also add a candidate from the Mission's Monthly Calendar view. Simply click on a shift in the calendar, and the same side menu will appear. From there, you can search for a candidate and either add them as an applicant, or hire them directly to the shift.

Alternatively, you can take this action directly from within the order. To do this, navigate to the order, go to the Hired tab, click Assign Someone, and then select Add Candidate. From there, you can either add them as an applicant or hire them to fill the shift.

If you'd like to assign the same candidate to multiple shifts within the order, a better option is to use the Applicants tab. Enter the candidate’s name and click Add. This will open a new page where you can submit an application on their behalf. If the order contains multiple shifts, you’ll be able to select specific dates by checking or unchecking the shifts that align with their availability

After you've submitted the application on behalf of the candidate, you can return to the order and proceed to assign them to the desired shift(s). To do so, simply click on the plus sign located under the date corresponding to when you want the candidate to work. If you wish to assign them to all shifts, you can alternatively click on the check mark adjacent to the candidate's name.
