Where's the panic button?

We hope that the panic button was a feature that seldom needed to be used. That being said, we recognize that even with the best planning, there may have been times when it came in handy.

With order level notifications, the panic button has been removed. But not to fear! You can still achieve the same results.

Let’s review what pushing the panic button did:

  1. Platform will look if there are any new candidates who were not previously notified by your platform and notify them.

  2. Check if there were any candidates who were notified but didn't respond and notify them again.

  3. Check if the notification requirements are different than the "panic" notification requirements. For example if the original notification criteria was set to only candidates with a rating of 8, but your panic notification criteria is a rating of 6, the platform would notify all the candidates that fit with the panic criteria.

So, how can these be achieved with order level notifications?

Outreach Tab is to the rescue. Outreach tab outlines all the platforms effort for a specific order.

  1. Expedite notifications from Outreach tab. If you see that there is a batch or two of notifications that have not yet been notified by the platform, you can expedite the notifications. These notifications will be sent within 5 minutes, rather than at their scheduled time. You now have option to expedite notification for individual candidates or in bulk to all the candidates with scheduled notifications.

  2. Resend notifications from Outreach tab. If there are candidates who were notified but have not responded, you can resend that notification to them. For example, in the image below, we have the option to resend a notification to Ike, as he has not yet responded. You now have option to resend notification to individual candidates or in bulk to all the candidates with already delivered notifications.

3. Bulk invite outside the notification requirements. If the radius for the notification was 40 miles, you can use bulk invite to increase the radius and adjust the ratings.

And thereby sending notifications to everyone that matches the new criteria. You could also send a notification out to all candidates, rather than just those authorized and interested.

So, should you find yourself in a panic situation, we hope this will help--you still have a number of ways to find the candidates you need to fill your orders.

Thank you.
