The world changed a lot since the pandemic, leading to more and more remote jobs becoming available across a number of industries.
There’s no reason your platform shouldn’t keep up with the times, and as such, it has an option for jobs to be posted exclusively with “remote” as the location or where the location can be selected as either “remote” or “on site” while placing the job order.
When “Only Remote” is selected on the location tab, the platform will not ask for an address when placing an order, and thus the platform will not filter candidates based on location.
If you will only be offering remote jobs on your platform, you can enable this by going to:
Configuration → Order Form → Scroll Down to Location → Click the edit icon next to “Location type” → Click in “Remote and Local Job Configuration” and Select “Only Remote” from the drop down menu. It will automatically update.
This means that the outreach process in your job campaigns will reach a wider pool of candidates, and notifications will be sent to suitable candidates as long as they are interested and authorized for the job type, too.
If you are a company that wants to offer both onsite and remote jobs, this is also an option that you can configure in the drop down menu. Simply select “Choose when placing order” instead. When the client is placing the order, they will be able to either enter its address, or select that it will be occurring remotely.
When creating an order and you reach the point of Location, if you should select remote; you’ll notice that the field to input an address/ location of job disappears along with the map.
