Configuring Text Messages

Ensuring that your platform is able to effectively communicate with your staff is vital for your staffing operations. As we’ve all learned though, both in staffing and real life, everyone has different methods that they prefer to communicate with. Your staff is no different. That’s why we are excited to announce that now you can setup your platform to send text messages to your staff, in the case that is their preferred method of communication. The platform will first prioritize sending updates through native app. If that is not configured though, the platform will send both a text message and email to the candidate.

We are utilizing the service Twilio to power our text messaging. This means in order to enable text messaging on your platform, we will need for you to set up a Twilio account. We're going to go over the entire process here.

First, you'll need to set up a Twilio Account, the onboarding process is fairly standard.

You will need to upgrade your account out of the trial period for a number with SMS and voice.

Once you have your number purchased, you will need to send someone on the Wolf Team the "Account Sid" and "Auth Token" for this specific number which you can find on your dashboard.

Be sure that your number is configured for Webhooks

And once you're done with that, you're all set to begin sending your staff text messages! Be sure to reach out to a Wolf Team member if you have any questions during the process!
