Game Plan — 1

Have a clear broad strategy for business. What will make you massively successful?

  1. List categories of ideal customers who will be hiring staff from you. Group them in natural buckets for convenient planning.

  2. How are these customers hiring staff currently? What are the alternatives being used presently by them? Describe how you will make them switch over to you? What benefits will you be offering as compared to their existing solution?

  3. How are the customers finding their current vendors? What channels are they using to search for the staffing company? How can you be present in these channels so they find you before your alternatives? Example: if your potential clients are using Yelp, then how will you be on top of Yelp? If they are using Craigslist, how will you get their attention?

  4. Based on point 2: What differentiates you from your alternatives? You want to write a compelling copy for your website. You want to write why your clients should work with you over your competition in a few lines. This should be your lead on the website.

  5. You should also write down all the information you want to provide on your website along with its structure. Later on, we will design with the information you provide in mind.

Game Plan — 2

Detail how you will get your first 20 clients and first 100 hours of hiring.

  1. List potential marketing efforts you'd undergo to attract the first 20 clients or the first 100 hours of hiring.

  2. List where you will market and how you will advertise your business.

  3. Against each effort to market and advertise, mention what resources are required for that channel(Financial, Time, Connections).

  4. Against each effort to market and advertise, mention what the expected payoff would be. How many clients would convert from that channel? How many hiring? How much profit?
