Every industry/platform has some of its own keywords and definitions. Wolf's platform is no different and the following are some important terms for you to familiarize yourself with:
Job type: All jobs offered on your platform should be categorized into a standard job type (waiter, cashier, doctor etc...). It is from these job types that your clients will request workers and you will rate your workers based on these job types. Your platform will also start learning about how good a candidate is for each job type. You can create job types from your platform, though we recommend discussing this with someone on the Wolf team prior as it can have serious consequences for your platform if done incorrectly.
Shifts: A set period of time on a given day for a given job type that workers have been requested. The number of workers requested is referred to as positions. For each shift, we have open positions (pending position that has not been filled) and filled positions. What matters is that a shift is one period of time that workers are needed (i.e. 3 waiters requested on April 5th from 10:00-14:00). Think of your platform as filling shifts.
Order/Campaign: Orders are multiple shifts for the same client and of the same job type. Orders are essentially orders from your clients. The platform can be configured to give priority to the same worker working multiple shifts in the same order. For example, say a client has a weeklong event that they need staffed. This event would be considered a "order" and all the individual time slots that make it up would be considered 'shifts'.
Workforce: This is the collection of every person registered on your platform as a worker.
Mission: Mission refers to a specific way of viewing shifts rather than a concept. The idea comes from Mission Control and a Mission's perspective will focus on the shifts that are happening that day.
Clearance vs Evaluated vs Authorized vs Active: Clearance is the minimum requirement for a worker to appear in your workforce (such as, has profile picture, resume). Evaluated means that a worker has been vetted (either by an interview, call, email, whatever your process is), Authorized is someone who could be approved to work for a specific type of job. We can authorize candidate for specific job types. Active is a candidate active for a specific job type: where a candidate is authorized, interested and is active and ready to work for the given job type.
Shift/Order Status: Each of your shifts and orders have a different status. They can be Live (notifications have been sent out and the platform will try to fill the position) Pending (shifts need to be made live by an admin, cannot currently be viewed by workforce) and Cancelled (this shift has been canceled and candidates are unable to apply). If you have enabled proposals on your platform, you can also see the status Proposal Sent (proposal has been sent to the client), Proposal Pending (an admin needs to create and send the proposal to client), and Proposal Enqueued (admin has sent proposal and platform is preparing to send the proposal, no action by an admin is needed).
Custom Data: Custom data is any extra information you want from either your candidates or clients (like a certificate or license from one of your workers). As the Wolf team is configuring your platform, they may ask what custom data you would like. This is what they are referring to. You can use Dropdown, free text input, file and such input formats for custom data.
