Now comes the big question, what makes for a good banner? Well first let's look at some bad examples.
Bad Example 1:
This is a bad example because it is just an image. Whatever the image of your banner may be, your logo, a scene etc... you will want to have some text on the screen. Let's see another bad example.

On the other hand, you are going to want to have some type of background image for the banner and not just leave it white. Furthermore, the text in the banner image should mention the job type, not just your brand name. Let's look at one more bad example.

So here we've got a background image, which is good, and the text is related to the job type, which is also good. However, the name of the job is way too small. It's best to have the name of the job large and clearly visible. It's also a good idea to include some smaller, clarifying text.
