You’ve just partnered with WOLF – we’re happy to have you!

A critical part of your implementation journey is creating a seamless way to direct your jobseekers and clients to your new staffing portal. The easiest way to do this is by establishing a dedicated sub-domain!

Examples of common sub-domains our customers use include ‘app,’ ‘staff,’ or ‘work’ (e.g., staff.<yourcompany>.com).

You will use this in conjunction with a WOLF.xyz site that hosts your private staffing portal. Your site address will be <yourcompany>.workmarketplace.tech.

To implement this, follow these steps:

  1. Decide on your new sub-domain name and register it with your registrar of choice (e.g., GoDaddy). WOLF typically recommends using the same registrar that hosts your main domain name.

  2. On your registrar's site, go to the DNS management area and open it for your new sub-domain.

  3. Add a new CNAME record for your sub-domain, and when prompted for the host name, enter the WOLF site from above (<yourcompany>.workmarketplace.tech).

  4. It may take up to 48 hours for this change to propagate across the internet.

From this point forward, you will need to direct jobseekers to <yourcompany>.workmarketplace.tech. They will be automatically redirected to your new staffing portal. Most customers add a link (or a clickable image with a link) pointing to <yourcompany>.workmarketplace.tech on their website.

Once the changes are recognized, follow these steps to generate a security certificate (SSL) and keep your platform secure:

  1. Notify your WOLF Point of Contact (POC) about the CNAME record once the change has propagated successfully.

  2. Your WOLF POC will take this information and generate a new CNAME value for verification.

  3. Go back to your domain settings, update the CNAME record with the new value, and save the changes.

Once this is completed, your platform will be fully connected and secured under your domain!
