Candidates are the lifeblood of your staffing operation. Without them you won't have anyone to fill your client's shifts. For this reason, testing the platform as a candidate is crucial so you can understand the process for your workers and help them if they encounter any difficulties along the way. Be sure to read some of these best practices when testing your platform as an end-user.

Signing up

The signup process itself is fairly simple, candidates will create a profile using their email and a password, upload photos (optional), upload their resume or manually enter their work experience and education, and answer some onboarding questions, if you have configured them. You can read a more in-depth description of the process here.

Updating their information

After they have signed up on the platform, your candidates can easily add additional experience not on their resume as well as easily add references, and update answers to the onboarding questions--for example if they did not have a needed certificate on-hand when they originally signed up. They would do this by going to Settings>Profile>Clicking the Edit picture icon inside their profile picture>Hovering over the red circle. This will pull up a menu of options for them to navigate to where they want to provide more information or edit information given during onboarding.

Connecting Bank

Once signed up, the candidate will want to connect their bank account through Stripe. They can do this by going to Payment>Bank Connection>Connect your Bank and following the instructions.

Viewing Opportunities and Upcoming Schedule

Most importantly, candidates will view opportunities as well as their upcoming schedule. They will see this in their Dashboard, as well as in their Jobs (Opportunities) tab and Schedule (Upcoming Assignments) tab.

These of course, are not the only actions your candidates can take in their platform. They can also manage their availability, review timesheets, change the language of the platform and their password, and much more.

However, this is a general overview of how your platform is experienced by your candidates.
