What is Outreach status:
Outreach is all about the platform's effort in finding the right candidate. Outreach status has two modes: Sourcing and Paused.
Sourcing indicates that the platform is ready and actively searching for the right candidate.
Paused means the platform has halted all its efforts to search for the right candidates. This simply means no new notifications would be sent out to candidates. Orders will still be visible to those candidates who received notifications before outreach was paused.
Automatic Operations:
The platform will automatically toggle outreach to 'sourcing' or 'paused' based on the following actions:
1. When the order is filled, the platform will automatically pause the outreach.
2. When the number of applicants meet the target required (Your platform can customize the ratio of required applications relative to the number of positions for an order, for example: we need 1 candidate for an order and our target is to get 5 applications. The platform will automatically pause the outreach once this target is reached.
3. When an additional candidate is required for an order, or an assigned candidate drops out, then the outreach would be turned back to 'Sourcing' only if the number of valid applicants are lower than the target. (See point 2).
The Lock Icon - Indicates Sourcing has been Paused
By default, the platform will source candidates to notify, and pause sourcing once the order has been filled or when the number of applicants meets the target required. However, If you decide to manually pause sourcing for a specific order; it’s as easy as navigating to “Orders” and clicking “View” on the specific order for which you’d like to have sourcing paused. At the top right hand corner you’ll be able to see “Outreach:Sourcing”, if you click on that you’ll see the option to pause outreach. Once this is done and the page is refreshed, you’ll see that small lock icon that indicates outreach has been paused.
Do note that if outreach has been manually paused, it can only be turned back on manually, should you want the platform to start generating candidates to be notified again.
Important considerations:
'Order status' triumphs 'Outreach Status'. If the order is not live, outreach status has no impact. If the outreach status is 'sourcing' and the order is closed or cancelled, then the notifications and outreach will be paused.
Admin/Recruiters can manually control the outreach status from the order view, however clients cannot change the outreach status.
