In order to create a comprehensive experience for your clients, the Wolf team has implemented a new feature which will allow your clients to view custom data and documents when they look at a candidate’s profile.
If your platform is being used in certain industries, say healthcare, you might want your client to be able to see if the candidate has certain licenses or certifications; or, more generally, perhaps the client needs to know if the candidate has certain information, such as an emergency contact. All this information is part of the custom data for a candidate, and you as the admin can now set the visibility for the client.
To do this, you go to Configuration from your dashboard and click on Custom Data. Here you can edit the custom data fields by clicking on the Update button for the field. You will see that there is a new field added - Visibility on Candidate’s profile for Client.
There are three options that you can choose from: Hidden - this means that the custom data will be hidden from the client; Responses - this will indicate that there is custom data available for a particular field and will show the client what the data is. The last option is Presence - this will simply show that there is custom data available for this field, but not specify what it is.
When your client is logged in, they can click on a candidate who has been assigned to an order to view more information and depending on the visibility that you have set, they will either be able to see that there is custom data or not, or be able to see the actual data.
If candidates have uploaded documents such as certificates, licenses or other course documents, then you can make these visible to your client as well. In Configuration you click on Document Requests, then click on edit for the specific type of document.
You will see a field for Client Visibility where you can select one of the same three options as custom data. The same concept applies here, so for example if you select Responses, then the client will be able to see the actual document; for Presence, they will only see that there is a document.
If the visibility is set to Hidden, then your clients will not be able to see this information for a candidate.
We hope this functionality will be helpful to you and your clients.
