Creating a credential/certificate

Many jobs require certain documents as proof of qualification for candidates, and you may want to add this requirement to the onboarding process of your candidates.

To enable this feature, go to Configuration from your dashboard, and click on Platform Setup. Then, navigate to Candidate Onboarding Set Up and scroll to the bottom where you can select to add a new form and add the Credential Tab. Then add a new credential and fill out the following fields:

  1. Credential name - type in the name of the certification.

  2. Description - give a description of the certification, for example a Food Sanitation Certificate could have a description of the required modules completed in a food sanitation course.

  3. Required fields - click in the box and select the fields from a drop-down menu that must be filled out, for example the dates of issue and expiry of the certificate.

  4. Hidden fields - these are the same fields as above but they can be hidden from the candidate.

  5. Client visibility - you can choose the visibility setting for the client.

  6. Geographically scoped - you can map the certificate to one state, multiple states or none (which would allow international certifications).

  7. Click Add Credentials to save

This document request will then need to be mapped to a job type, in which case only candidates who have said they are interested in that job type while onboarding will be asked for the certification; or it can be added to a form, in which case every candidate who sees the packet that the form is a part of, will be asked for this certification.

You can also deactivate or activate this credential by going to Configuration->Custom Date->Credentials and updating it.
