The platform allows tenants and clients to dispute timesheets while leaving a clear note explaining what needs to be corrected. This creates transparency, reduces back-and-forth, and helps jobseekers resolve issues quickly and accurately.

Why Leave a Note When Disputing a Timesheet?

When disputing a timesheet, adding a note ensures the jobseeker understands exactly why the timesheet was disputed and what action is required. Notes help:

  • Clarify what needs to be adjusted (hours, breaks, arrival time, etc.)

  • Reduce confusion and follow-up questions

  • Speed up timesheet corrections and approvals

  • Keep all communication documented in one place

How Tenants or Clients Dispute a Timesheet

When reviewing a submitted timesheet, tenants or clients can dispute it and include a note describing the issue. Write the note first and then click “Dispute.”

Example reasons for disputing a timesheet:

  • Incorrect clock-in or clock-out time

  • Missing or incorrect break time

  • Shift ended earlier or later than recorded

  • Other discrepancies related to hours worked

The note entered during the dispute will be visible to the jobseeker and will clearly indicate what needs to be corrected before resubmission.

What Jobseekers See

Once a timesheet is disputed:

  • The jobseeker is notified that their timesheet was disputed

  • The dispute note is displayed alongside the timesheet

  • The note explains exactly what changes are required

This allows the jobseeker to make the correct updates without guesswork.

Jobseeker Resubmission and Notes

When resubmitting a disputed timesheet, jobseekers also have the option to add a note. This note can be used to:

  • Explain the changes that were made

  • Provide additional context or clarification

  • Respond directly to the client’s dispute note

This two-way note system keeps communication clear and documented throughout the review process.

Please note that timesheets can be edited for up to 8 days after being logged.

Best Practices

  • Be specific when leaving dispute notes to avoid delays

  • Reference exact times or details that need correction

  • Encourage jobseekers to leave a note when resubmitting if clarification is needed
