When managing live orders, it’s important to understand how canceling shifts affects the overall status of an order.
If you cancel all shifts within a live order, the order itself will not automatically close. This means the order may still appear as active, even though there are no remaining shifts associated with it. This can lead to confusion, especially when reviewing open orders or reports.
Best Practice:
If your intention is to cancel all shifts in an order, it’s more efficient and accurate to simply close the entire order. This ensures that it’s properly removed from your list of active or live orders.
Coming Soon:
We’re working on an enhancement to make this process more intuitive. In an upcoming update, if you cancel the last remaining shift within an order, the system will automatically close the order for you—saving time and reducing manual steps.
We’ll keep you posted once this enhancement goes live!
